“us”) process personal data. We want you to be aware of what information is

collected and processed and – if possible – how long it is stored. This privacy policy

regulates the processing of personal data at MAKIN AS in connection with trading, interaction, or other exchanges of personal information with us.

Our processing of your data

We process your information for one or more specific purposes according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In the table below, you can get an overview of the different types of processing we carry out. Below the table, you can read more about the specific processing.

Sales

In connection with the sale of goods and service assistance, we need to process personal data to execute and fulfil a delivery agreement. This information includes Contact information, name, e-mail and company.

The information we process comes directly from our customers and is not obtained from anyone other than the registered individual. We do not disclose this information to third parties.

We keep customer information for up to 5 years after the end of the customer relationship in accordance with accounting law.

Makin’ Cloud solution

When you use our products, you need to create a login. When creating a login, you will be asked to enter your name, email, and you will be associated with a company. We do not collect any other information about you, and your personal information is not disclosed to third parties. We process your information based on your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by writing to gdpr@makin3d.com

We keep your personal information for as long as you have a login and no later than 5 years after the last activity on the account.

Website

In connection with the general operation of our website, we collect personal information about you in the form of cookies to improve the appearance and user experience of the website, as well as to compile statistics. We only collect your personal information if you have given your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Read more about this in our cookie policy.

If you contact us via the email link on our website, we record your name, email, and possibly company. We use this information to contact you according to the purpose you have stated in your email. In addition, we will share your inquiry with our dealers to provide the best answer to your inquiry if necessary. The information is stored for a maximum of 2 years from the inquiry.

Job applicants

When you apply for a job at MAKIN AS, we process your information for recruitment purposes, including to assess whether you are qualified for current or future positions at MAKIN AS.

We process the personal data contained in your application, CV, and any attachments, including educational documents. This may include name, contact information, date of birth, education, references, and other common personal information. If you have completed a personality test during the recruitment process, we will retain the results of this.

We encourage you not to provide your full social security number or sensitive information, including information about racial or ethnic background, political, religious, or philosophical beliefs, union membership, or information on health and sexual matters. We do not need this information in the recruitment process.

Your information will be processed by relevant employees at MAKIN AS. The processing

is carried out for the purpose of entering a contract with you or on the basis of a balancing of interests.

The result of the personality test is based on your consent, which you have the right to withdraw at any time by writing to gdpr@makin3d.com.  

Your information is deleted continuously as the purposes for which they were collected are completed, meaning that if you are not offered a position, your information will be deleted when the specific position is filled, and the recruitment process is completed. However, if you are offered a position, your application, CV, and any attachments will be stored by the HR department. If we wish to retain your information for a longer period, we will obtain your express consent for this.

Newsletters and service messages

When we send out newsletters, service messages, and other marketing initiatives, we need to process your personal information. We only process information about your name and email for this purpose. We only obtain the information from you and do not disclose it to third parties.

We process your information based on your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by writing to gdpr@makin3d.com or by unsubscribing via the link provided in each newsletter.

We retain documentation of your consent for 2 years after you unsubscribe from our newsletter,

as any penal liability expires after this period.

Recipients of personal data

We treat your personal information confidentially, and as a rule, we do not disclose information to third parties unless required by law.

We may disclose personal information to our system vendors who process personal information for us and according to our specific instructions.

We do not transfer your personal information to countries or organizations outside the EU/EEA. If we need to transfer information outside the EU/EEA, for example, to fulfil an agreement with you, we ensure this with a legal basis for the transfer.

Your rights

When we collect information about you, you have several basic rights under data protection regulations that you can exercise. Your rights include the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal information, restriction of and objection to our processing, and the right to receive your information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (data portability).

The above-mentioned rights may be subject to conditions and limitations. Whether you, as the registered person, can request, for example, the deletion of your personal data, will always depend on a specific assessment.

If you disapprove with our processing of your personal information, you can file a complaint with

the Data Protection Authority through their website www.datatilsynet.dk or by calling 33 19 32 00.

Changes to privacy policy

We reserve the right to update and change these guidelines for the processing of personal information when needed. In case of significant changes, we will contact you with a visible notice on our websites or by email.

This policy is available in multiple language versions. In case of doubt about the content, the English language version prevails.
